There are frequent flights to all parts from Paphos, and Larnaca, with most regional British airports being served. Travel is now permitted between the south and north parts of the island. Most pensions are tax free in Cyprus,  no tax is paid up to a threshold of CYP10,000, and then at only 5% thereafter. Petrol is about 95 Euro cents a litre. The rates are about €140 PER YEAR. Rubbish is collected twice weekly. GAS is about €190 for 400 litres. HOT WATER is free most of the year.
