You just sit at the bar of your choice while listening to live music. Summer sports, sea activities and cruises are readily available. Larnaca being the centre of the country is the ideal base for exploring other towns, such as Protaras, Ayia Napa, Troodos Mountains, Limassol and Paphos, to name but a few. Even if you?re not out to get a tan, the sun makes virtually everything more enjoyable on the island. There are boat rides, cruises around the island and to Egypt, ancient ruins, hiking, nature trails, shopping, Alfresco dining, Festivals, sightseeing tours, water sports, watermarks, Camel Park, the list goes on. Places of Interest Larnaca has a number of attractions, like Salt Lake, which, in the cooler months is home to colonies of graceful flamingos and other migratory birds.
